English Classes
‘I came here as an asylum seeker, and I couldn’t speak any English. St Augustine’s Centre taught me how to read, speak and write.’
We offer friendly classes for beginners, intermediate level and advanced learners. We also provide one-to-one conversation support, including a weekly Conversation Club and Women’s Chat Group. These classes and groups are exclusively available to our Centre Members who are seeking asylum and refugees living in Calderdale.
English classes will resume in the week starting on 16 September.
